Harvest in Rioja Alavesa 2025: the essence of Lar de Paula beneath the watchful Sierra de Cantabria<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n

In Elvillar<\/strong>, the heart of Rioja Alavesa<\/strong>, the harvest is much more than a date on the calendar: it is the culmination of a year of dedication, patience, and respect for the land.<\/p>\n

Between mid-September and the first week of October<\/strong>, the vineyards of Lar de Paula<\/strong> came alive \u2014 filled with the aroma of ripe grapes and the gentle hum of those who understand the value of every cluster.<\/p>\n

This 2025 harvest has been both generous and balanced: 230,000 kilograms of Tempranillo<\/strong> and 8,000 kilograms of Viura.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in the quietest part of the process, our winemaking team<\/strong> closely follows the evolution of each must \u2014 observing, tasting, fine-tuning.<\/p>\n

They nurture the birth of the wine as one would accompany the awakening of new life. The first tastings from the tanks<\/strong>, after the initial two weeks of fermentation, reveal what we already sensed in the vineyard:
\nvibrant, bright, and elegant colors<\/em> in both reds and whites, with aromatic expression that promises balance and freshness.<\/p>\n

At the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria<\/strong> \u2014 the natural wall that shelters our vines from the north and moderates the climate with ancient wisdom \u2014 the harvest becomes an act of harmony between nature and humankind.<\/p>\n

The calcareous soils, cool mornings, and radiant afternoons of Elvillar, Laguardia, Crip\u00e1n, and Lanciego<\/strong> create the perfect setting where every cluster tells its own story.<\/p>\n
